Latin Patriarchy is working to make it tax deductable to donate money from the United States of America to the Latin Patriarchate School in Zababdeh via the Latin PatriarchyHeadquarters in Jerusalem.

American money can be deposited into the Latin Patriarchy Headquarters in Jerusalem bank account in America. American banks must obey American laws when they transfer money from Latin Patriarchy Headquartersbank account in America to the Latin Patriarchy Headquarters bank account in Jerusalem.

Procedure

The donor does the following:

Tells Martha Liles that the donor wants to make a this type of donation.
Writes a check payable to "Most Rev. Fouad Twal". Most Rev. Fouad Twal is the Coadjutor of the Latin Patriarchy. He will become Patriarch when the present Patriarch resigns. This priest has a bank account for the Latin Patriarchate Headquarters in Bank of America in America.
Writes on the For or Memo line on the check "For a child of St. George Church in Zababdeh to attend the Latin Patriarchate School"
Writes an instruction letter stating that the money is to pay the tuition and fees for for a child of St. George Melkite Catholic Church in Zababdeh, Palestine to attend the Latin Patriarchate School in Zababdeh, Palestine National Authority.

A suggested format for the instruction letter is below:

Mails the donation check and instruction letter to Martha Liles

Martha Liles does the following:

Sends an e-mail to Father Firas Khoury Diab asking him for the name(s) of the student(s) to whom the donation money to pay for tuition and school fees at the Latin Catholic School in Zababdeh should be credited.
cc the e-mail to:

Mgr. Fouad Twal, the Coadjutor of the Latin Patriarchy, coad@latinpat.org
Father Shawki Baterian, the CEO of the the Coadjutor of the Latin Patriarchy, ceo@latinpat.org
Anton Asfar, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Financial Controlleranton@latinpat.org

Abouna Firas Khoury Diab does the following:

E-mails the name and the donation amount of each students for whom the donation money would pay tuition and school fees to Martha Liles.

Martha Liles does the following:

Deposits the money into the bank account of the Most Rev. Mgr. Fouad Twal. There is no bank fee.
Sends three e-mails to the three above listed persons at the Latin Patriarchate and to Firas Khoury Diab

To tell them:

The planned donation was made.
The name and the donation amount of each students for whom the donation money the donation money will pay tuition and school fee

To ask:

The Most Rev. Mgr. Fouad Twal

To transfer the donation money into the account of Abouna Shawki Baterian.
To e-mail to me when he receives the donation money.

Abouna Shawki Baterian

To transfer the donation money into the account of the the named students at the Latin Patriarchate School in Zabadeh.
To e-mail to me when he receives the donation money.

Abouna Firas Khoury Diab to e-mail me when the Accountant at the Latin Patriarchate school tells him that the Accountant has credit the money to the accounts of the named students.
