In December, 2002, the Spiritual Head of the Diocese of Akka, Haifa, Nazareth and All of Galilee was His Excellency / Archbishop Boutros Al- Mouallem. His Excellency's name is transliterate from the Arabic many ways. His first name is Boutros or Butros, which is Pierre or Peter. His last name is Mouallem, Moallem, or Maalem. The Al or El prefix is added as a sign of respect.
