Material Accomplishments at St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Church
 

Church Building

The most important accomplishment is that the Church building (St. George Church and Priest Residence) is now safe, usable and inhabitable.    Church Outside    Church Inside
The second important accomplishment is that the most of the necessary liturgical items were obtained.

  • Repaired the building including roof and walls (dirt roof, steel and concrete replacment, steel and ready mix concrete, interior plastering, tiling)
  • Installed 15 windows, 2 safety steel doors, 6 interior doors, sewage and water with sanitary facilities, electric wiring and lighting
  • Obtained:
    • Altar and Preparation Table
    • Altar cloths
    • Candles
    • Icon of St. George for front of Church
    • Ten Icons within the Church
    • Incense
    • Liturgical Book and two Stands
    • Safe permanent seating for the people (new benches)
    • Vestments for the priest and altar servers
    • Water net and water storage containers
  • Maintainance repainting
  • Maintainance repair

Church Class Room

The most important accomplishment is that religious education material for the children was obtained.
The second important accomplishment is that a Class Room was built.

The second important accomplishment is that the swing was installed.

The second important accomplishment is that the wall protecting the Church's property was built.
The third important accomplishment is that the road to the Church's property was paved.
