Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

• Saint Ann (Al-Qiddissah Hannah) Kindergarten: Teachers, Administrators, and Staff members to start the Saint Ann (Al-Qiddissah Hannah) Kindergarten Program
• Adult Education: Teach English, French, computers, business, etc.
• Construction: Build, maintain, and repair the joint Church/convent building and Saint Ann (Al-Qiddissah Hannah) Kindergarten / Senior Citizen building and the Church Grounds
• Work in the projects: Candle Project, Embroidery Project, Incense Project, Olive Oil Project, Olive Oil Soap Project, Olive Wood Project, Sewing Project, and Tourist Project

  Volunteers sleep and eat at the College of Naim Khader for Agriculture in Zababdeh, which is a five-minute drive from St. George Church. The daily room and board (food) cost is $50 American dollars. Then, the room and board (food) for seven days would be $350 American dollars. Volunteers are expected to pay for their travel expenses to and from Zababdeh and their living expenses in Zababdeh.

  In Nov. 2008, the first volunteer group came for one week. They did construction work on the Saint Ann (Al-Qiddissah Hannah) Kindergarten / Senior Citizen Center building. To view them and their work, click on this link schoolentrance.shtml

  In 2009 and 2010, more groups of volunteers contributed for several days to two weeks. These groups did construction work on the Saint Ann (Al-Qiddissah Hannah) Kindergarten / Senior Citizen Center building, planted trees and flowers, cleaned the church / school grounds, and worked in the Projects. Additionally, they purchased some materials / plants.
